No Re-Tune to ECU Required. The Injen Power-Flow Wrinkle Black Air Intake does not need an ECU re-tune as it gets its extra power and torque from its advanced design. That being said, an ECU re-tune in the future will always be advantageous for your truck as this ensures your engine and cold air intake are fully in sync.
High-Performance Dry Air Filter. The Injen Power-Flow Wrinkle Black Air Intake uses a high-performance dry air filter. This dry air filter features an exclusive cellulose-based filter media, as well as an outer layer of Nano material to exceptional filtration without compromising air flow. This air filter is also easy to maintain via a standard vacuum cleaner or low-pressure compressed air.
Superior Build Quality. The Injen Power-Flow Wrinkle Black Air Intake is manufactured from high-grade aluminum alloy durability and corrosion resistance. The intake tube is precision-crafted for a precise fit, and features a wrinkle black powder-coat finish for rugged looks under the hood. This cold air intake also includes an aluminum heat shield that protects the air filter from high temperatures, extending its service life. Lastly, this cold air intake uses heat-resistant silicone couplers, as well as stainless steel clamps both of which are highly resistant to damage from engine bay heat.
