This cold air intake uses exclusive Mega Ram (MR) technology to provide your engine with huge amounts of cold air. This cold air intake is engineered to provide effective boosts in power, torque, and acceleration by directing large amounts of cold air into your engine. This ensures more complete fuel combustion, as well as optimized throttle response.
No Re-Tune to ECU Required. The Injen Power-Flow Polished Cold Air Intake is designed to work with your Tacoma’s factory engine tune. The power upgrade is due to an innovative design and high-quality materials. That being said, an ECU re-tune down the line is always good for your truck in order to get the most out of this cold air intake.
High-Tech Dry Air Filter. The Injen Power-Flow Polished Cold Air Intake comes with a high-tech dry air filter. This dry air filter uses an exclusive cellulose-based filter media, and an outer layer of Nano material, enabling maximum filtration without compromising air flow. Moreover, this air filter is easy to maintain; simply tap gently to remove excess dirt and either vacuum from the outside, or use low-pressure compressed air from the inside.
Tough Build Quality. The Injen Power-Flow Polished Cold Air Intake features a high-grade aluminum alloy for maximum strength and corrosion resistance. This intake tube is precision-formed, and polished for an exact fit and great looks. This cold air intake also includes an aluminum heat shield to protect the air filter from engine bay heat, thereby extending its service life. Lastly, this air intake uses stainless steel clamps and high-grade silicone couplers, both of which will stand up to the high engine bay heat.
Uncomplicated Installation. Installing the Injen Power-Flow Polished Cold Air Intake is a relatively uncomplicated procedure as this assembly uses your truck’s factory air intake location without modification. Standard hand tools are all you need, and all mounting hardware is included for convenience.
