The ICON Vehicle Dynamics S2 Secondary Shock Upgrade System; Stage 2 is the secondary front damper upgrade you want if you’re looking to take your Tacoma out for more extreme off-roading. Specifically, this secondary shock upgrade system includes a pair of Aluminum CDCV series reservoir shocks designed to boost the damping capabilities of your current ICON coilovers. This feature allows you to take on more intense forms of off-roading like desert runs and longer washboard trails. The included shocks’ nitrogen-charged monotube remote reservoir setup will also provide more stable handling on the highway that’s characterized by almost no body roll. This means you could still take your truck out on grocery runs.

Compression Adjustable. The included Aluminum series shocks are also compression adjustable via convenient external knobs. These knobs allow you to get 10 levels of adjustability, enabling you to change damping response for the type of terrain you’re on. What’s more, these knobs can be adjusted without the need for tools for convenience.

Heavy-Duty Build Quality. These secondary dampers’ shock bodies are precision-machined from high-grade aircraft aluminum, offering exceptional durability and corrosion resistance as well as ideal heat dissipation. These factors help maintain fade-free damping performance. The shocks’ 0.875-inch piston rods are likewise machined from induction hardened, chrome-plated steel, making them tough enough for the trails. Straightforward Install Procedure. This secondary shock system is designed to install adjacent to your coilovers.
