It’s designed to quickly deliver bigger amounts of cool, clean air to your engine for big gains in horsepower and torque. This is achieved through the short but wide intake pipe and the oversized high-flow filter. With an improved flow of clean air to your engine, you’ll definitely feel an increase in power and better throttle response.
Doesn’t Require a Custom Tune. HPS designed this short ram cold air intake to work with your vehicle’s factory tune. However, if your Jeep has multiple upgrades, you’ll benefit from a custom tune. This will reprogram the ECU to ensure that all the upgrades will work perfectly and seamlessly.
Oversized HPS High-Flow Filter. To give your engine its supply of clean air, HPS threw in an oversized high-flow filter with this kit. With its bigger surface area, it can filter out more contaminants down to the smallest particles. In addition, the filter is also washable and can last for up to 100,000 miles between cleanings. This makes it more economical in terms of time, money, and effort.
Mandrel-Bent Aluminum Intake Tube. For smoother airflow in bigger volumes, this short ram cold air intake comes with a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube. The heavy-duty structure is specially designed for the quick and unrestricted flow of air. It can also maintain the correct air-fuel ratio. Lastly, for a stylish look and improved corrosion resistance, the tube is finished with a glossy red powder coating.
No-Drill, No-Weld Installation. This short ram cold air intake is designed for a direct fit on your Jeep. HPS included high-quality clamps and a detailed manual for a straightforward 1-hour installation.
