      Description

      Innovative Fuel Pickup Solution. The Holley Fuel Tank Pickup; HYDRAMAT (15X8 CROSS) - OFFSET OUT - 3/8 is engineered to eliminate fuel starvation issues common with traditional pickups. It ensures steady fuel delivery during hard cornering, acceleration, stopping, inclines, and low fuel levels by using surface tension and fluid wicking to draw fuel from nearly any contact area within the tank or fuel cell. This improves engine performance and reduces stalling.

      Construction and Appearance. This fuel pickup features a beige, foldable, and compressible media with microscopic pores creating an internal reservoir that holds fuel effectively. It also acts as a 15 micron pre-filter, and its offset outlet includes a -3/8" NPT fitting designed for universal installation.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring minimal modification. Female NPT threaded fittings do not require sealing paste or tape. For fixed stud mounting inside tanks, it is recommended to use Click Bond stud kits, which are available through aircraft supply retailers.

      Warranty. The product is backed by a manufacturer’s limited 90-day warranty.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit flat bottom rectangular style fuel cells with minimum dimensions of 15 inches long and 8 inches wide. For optimal performance, return fuel should be discharged near the pickup at a minimum of 1 inch above the HydraMat.
