Description
Innovative Fuel Management. The Holley Fuel Tank Pickup HYDRAMAT (11X11 CROSS) - CENTER OUT- 3/8 is a unique fuel pickup designed to maintain consistent fuel delivery during extreme driving conditions. It is installed inside fuel tanks or cells to prevent fuel starvation caused by fuel movement and tank inclination. This product helps maintain engine performance by minimizing air intrusion and fuel interruptions during hard cornering and acceleration.
Construction And Appearance. Constructed from a specialized porous media, the HydraMat features a patented internal reservoir with fluid-wicking properties. Its beige color and flexible design enable it to conform to various fuel cell shapes and allow folding for installation. Surface tension-driven pores ensure fuel retention even when portions of the mat are uncovered.
Installation. Installation requires no specialized drilling for tanks with adequate openings. The mat compresses and folds to fit through typical fuel cell openings, and the 3/8 inch female NPT fitting eliminates the need for sealing compounds, simplifying the mounting process.
Warranty. This product includes a manufacturer’s limited 90-day warranty. Application. Fits flat bottom rectangular style fuel cells with minimum dimensions of eleven inches long by eleven inches wide cross. Return fuel should be discharged near the pickup at a minimum height of one inch above the mat for optimal performance.
