      Description

      Innovative Fuel Pickup Solution. The Holley Fuel Tank Pickup; HYDRAMAT (8X8 CROSS) CENTER OUT - 3/8 IN effectively addresses fuel starvation and air introduction issues common in both stock fuel tanks and racing fuel cells. Utilizing surface tension and fluid wicking principles, it consistently supplies fuel under extreme driving conditions such as hard cornering and low fuel levels, ensuring reliable engine performance and minimizing the risk of stalling.

      Construction and Appearance. This HydraMat features a microporous media designed to create an internal reservoir that retains fuel through fluid wicking and surface tension. Its flexible construction allows folding and compression for simple installation, while providing a durable performance-grade design compatible with alcohol-based fuels and specific oil blends.

      Installation. Installing the HydraMat is straightforward and does not require sealants or tapes on the female NPT fitting, reducing potential issues with fuel pump failure. It can be installed through typical fuel cell openings and can be secured using appropriate stud kits if needed.

      Application. Designed specifically to fit flat bottom rectangular fuel cells measuring at least 8 inches by 8 inches with a cross-style center outlet and a -3/8" NPSF fitting, ensuring optimal compatibility and reliable performance in these fuel cell configurations.
