How to Install GraBars Handles on your 1987-2006 Wrangler YJ or TJ

Step 1:

Remove the (2) 8mm bolts (photo on right) in the inside upper-corner of the windshield frame, using a T40 Torx wrench.

Step 2:

Place the GraBar to align the hole in the mounting bracket with the two holes in the rollbar mount. Reinstall the two factory bolts previously removed.

NOTE: Make sure you have the left handle for the left side, and the righthandle for the right side

Repeat steps 1 & 2 for the other side.

Step 1: Remove Plastic trim by removing one screw from each visor and 3 screws down each A Pillar.

Step 2: Drill 1-1/2” hole in plastic as shown in photo below.

Step 3: Slip the plastic trims over the handles and install left and right side GraBars as per instructions on front side.

Step 4: Reinstall the plastic trim and visor.
