These GraBars front and rear grab handles with the red grips are for those of you that have a 2007 to 2018 four-door JK that are looking for grab handles for both the front and the rear of the Jeep that are going to be nice and strong and give you and your passengers a nice, solid attachment point to help you get in and out of your stock or lifted Jeep. These are gonna be a pretty easy one-out-of-three-wrench install. They will bolt into place. There are a couple of different tips and tricks to make that install a little bit easier, but we'll talk more about that in just a second. So when you're looking at grab handles, you're really going to have two different types – one is going to be soft, the other is going to be hard. The soft ones usually attach with Velcro, making the installation that much easier for you. However, being that they're soft, when you grab them, there's some give. They move, they roll, they do stretch a little bit. There are some high-quality ones that you can get out there that will do a little bit less than that, some of them that have a nice hard rubber piece on them that do make them feel a little bit more secure. But nothing compared to a steel or a metal grab handle. These things are going to be bolted directly onto the frame of the Jeep, metal to metal, a very, very solid connection. And they do really feel that much better and instill that much more confidence when you're grabbing onto them and pulling yourself in or out of the Jeep. Now, some people don't like the idea of having a metal grab handle because there is metal that's fairly close to your head. And if you're bouncing around off-road or, God forbid, were to get into an accident on-road, this is one more thing to smack your head into. So those are really the things that you're going to have to decide when you're purchasing your grab handle, and whether you wanna go with metal or with a soft handle. If you do decide to go with metal, again, I really, really like these. They're a very simple design, but they just work. They put the grab handle in a very easy-to-access location, and they're going to be very, very solid. These ones come with the black-and-red color scheme. So if that's what you have going on, on your Jeep, or these are gonna make a nice accent, these are going to be very well-suited for you from an aesthetic standpoint as well. Now, GraBars aren't going to be the least expensive grab handles, but they're not going to be the most expensive either. Most of the metal grab handles are going to be more or less in the same price range, all more than soft handles. But most of them are, again, going to be pretty similar. And for the quality that you get from these handles, I do think these are worth the cost. As for construction, what you're getting here is just a very beefy handle. These are going to be your front handles. These are a solid round bar drilled in all of the appropriate spots to make these a bolt-on installation. And again, these do have the red grips on them. You can get these with the red grips, with black grips, with a couple of different grips that you can purchase after the fact. Just slide them right on there if you choose to. But again, these are gonna come with the red ones. And then, of course, you have your grab handle on the back as well. Same deal. Very strong, very secure. That solid round bar gives you a really solid surface to grab onto. These grab handles are gonna run you $175. That is significantly more than a soft set of grab handles. But in the world of metal grab handles, especially, quality ones that bolt on easily, that is not a crazy price. If you want a metal grab handle, you want something that's an easy install, a nice aesthetic, and just works really well, I do think these are gonna be worth the cost. Now, a member of the install team will show you how to get these installed. Speaker 2: The first thing we're gonna do is remove the one 13-millimeter bolt in our windshield frame right here. Once we take that out, that's gonna give us a hole that we can bolt our grab handle up to. All right. Once we've got that bolt out in the windshield frame, we're now ready to get our grab handle installed. You wanna take one of the short bolts and one of the short spacers, and we're gonna insert the bolt through the top of the grab handle hole. We'll put our spacer down on it. And with a 6-millimeter Allen key, we're gonna get this thing started. Now, we don't wanna tighten this up all the way just yet. We wanna get it hand-tightened. Now that we got both of the grab bar bolts started, we can go ahead and tighten both of them down fully now. All right. We can move on to the back grab handle now. All right. Now that we're in the back of the Jeep, we are ready to install the rear grab bar. There are two 10-millimeter bolts that we need to remove in the soundbar that will allow us to bolt our new grab bar into place. All right. We're ready to get our grab bar installed now. Grab the 6-millimeter bolt that's supplied with the kit, and we're going to get one started here. And you want your handle facing towards the front of the Jeep. Make sure that you get both bolts started first before you tighten one up. This is gonna help you get everything lined up properly. Once you get both bolts started, you can go ahead and tighten them down fully. That's gonna wrap up our review and install of the GraBars front and rear grab handles.
