Hey, guys. So, today, I'm here with the GraBars BootBars Foot Pegs in red, fitting all 2007 to 2018 JK and JL Wranglers. So, everybody loves taking the doors off their Wrangler. That's one of the iconic things about the Jeep, enjoying that open-air driving experience, and there are a couple of accessories that make that experience just that much better. So, foot pegs are gonna be one of those popular items and this option by GraBars is going to be a great choice to take a look at it if you're looking for a comfortable place to rest your foot while you're driving or hanging out in the passenger seat while also adding a little bit of style with the red sleeve. So, foot pegs are pretty inexpensive, ranging anywhere from $50 to $70, and these will land themselves right in the middle at about $60. So, when comparing them to other options, other options that you may be taking a look at on the site may be a little bit smaller, not as large of a footprint here, they may not have the rubber sleeve, they will be of a metal construction, and they might actually have a different design in how you rest your foot. Personally, I think these are a quality pair of foot pegs and they even come in a couple of different colors, so you can customize them to your JK or your JL's color scheme, not to mention they will also come with a lifetime warranty to keep the peace of mind. So, install is going to be a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. You're gonna need a couple of hand tools and a couple of minutes to get these installed. So, speaking of the install, let's jump into that now. The tools that I used for this install were a 3/8-inch drive and 1/4- inch drive ratchet, a 9/16-inch socket, and an 8-millimeter Allen key. So, the first step to our install is obviously taking off your door. Now, if you are looking at this product, you probably already know how to take off your door. It's just a bolt underneath here. You have to disconnect your harness as well as your limiting strap and then store them in a safe location. Then you can grab your foot pegs. Now, they do come in this little handy bag, which I really like. This makes it super easy to store them away in a safe location with the hardware that they give you too, so you can keep these two together. And it even comes with a nifty, little handle to make it super easy to throw in the back of the Jeep. Now, we're ready to go ahead and install these. So these will be side-specific and the pins on the outside that will actually stop this from spinning all the way out will be offset, so you want to make sure that the passenger side is all the way to the right when looking at the foot peg from the top, and then for your driver's side, it will be all the way to the left. So, now we can go ahead and put this in place. You want to make sure you want to grab your hardware first. You do have two washers. You're gonna place one washer on top, put the foot peg on top, and then with the Allen head, you are going to insert the bolt through the door pin, take your flat washer, put it underneath, and then secure it down with your nylon lock nut. So, this pin will also have a little rubber piece on it. It will have a like a little rubber sleeve. I do like that, so it's not hitting up against your paint, chipping your paint, and this will actually be made of a steel construction with the rubber outer portions, which I do really like because it gives you some grip. It'll give you some comfort while you're resting your foot here as to where a lot of other foot pegs are just straight on metal. Now, we can go grab our tools. So, I have a 9/16- inch socket for the bottom nut here and an 8-millimeter Allen key for the top. So, what I'm doing here is actually just holding this where I want it to be, pushed all the way up forward as I possibly can while tightening it down. So, after everything is tightened down, we can do the same thing on the other side and you're all set to go. That's gonna wrap it up for my review and install.
