Description
Provides Differential Protection. The G2 Axle and Gear Dana 44 Brute Differential Cover – Aluminum is designed to protect your Jeep Wrangler’s ring and pinion by cooling the gear oil, as well as act as a shield against impact. It includes a magnetic dip stick and drain plug to draw out any metal particles, thereby helping in filtering the gear oil. And the cover has increased gear oil capacity—between 2 and 2.50 quarts—to keep the differential cool and well lubricated.
Durable Aluminum Construction. G2 Axle and Gear made this cover from heat-treated aluminum and with internal and external cooling fins to ensure prime heat resistance. It is finished with a satin black powder coat to supremely protect it against corrosion.
Direct Bolt-On Installation. Bearing 12 bolt holes and packaged with all the stainless steel hardware necessary for installation, this differential cover is designed to be a direct bolt-on upgrade for your Wrangler factory differential cover. This cover can be installed within 1 hour using basic hand tools.
Recommended Upgrade. When changing your differential cover, it is recommended to upgrade to fresh gear oil at the same time.
10-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty. G2 Axle and Gear warrants that this differential cover will be free from manufacturer defects for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase. Some exclusions may apply; please see the manufacturer's warranty for details.
Application. The G2 Axle and Gear Dana 44 Brute Differential Cover - Aluminum is designed to fit the 2003–2018 Jeep Wrangler TJ and JK models equipped with the Dana 44 axle.
