Description
Performance Muffler. The Flowmaster 50 Series Delta Flow Offset/Center Oval Muffler; 2-Inch Inlet/2-Inch Outlet is engineered to deliver a moderate exhaust tone with reduced interior resonance, making it ideal for street rods, muscle cars, and trucks. This muffler improves horsepower, torque, and engine efficiency while maintaining a balanced exterior sound without excessive cabin noise.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable 16-gauge aluminized steel, this muffler features a three-chamber design that employs Delta Flow technology and an internal tuning chamber to control sound levels. It is fully MIG welded for strength and coated with a high-temperature black paint finish for corrosion resistance and a sleek look.
Installation. The muffler is designed for clamp-on or weld-on installation with slip-fit connections. Installation requires moderate skill; some adaptation may be necessary due to universal fitment, and new hangers will be required, as they are not included.
Application. This muffler is a universal fit, requiring some adaptation during installation to fit various 4- and 6-cylinder engines, classic and late model muscle cars, street rods, street/strip vehicles, and trucks or SUVs. It does not fit specific vehicle models out of the box and needs custom adjustments.
