Description

The Flowmaster 40 Series Center/Dual Out Oval Muffler; 3-Inch Inlet/2.50-Inch Outlet delivers the classic Flowmaster tone characterized by an aggressive and distinctive sound. This muffler is designed to enhance the exhaust note both outside and inside the vehicle, making it an excellent choice for street, strip, and off-road applications.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable 16 gauge 409 stainless steel, this muffler is fully MIG welded for maximum strength and longevity. It features a high-temperature black paint finish that provides an aggressive look while resisting corrosion and heat damage.
Installation. Installation requires slip-fit connections with clamp-on or weld-on options, allowing for versatile mounting. Some adaptation may be necessary as it uses new hangers which are not included, and no drilling is typically required for universal applications.
