The Flowmaster 223 Series Standard Duty Catalytic Converter; 2.50-inch Inlet/2.50-inch Outlet; 49-State Legal is engineered to reduce harmful vehicle emissions efficiently. It functions as a direct or consolidated replacement to maintain legal emissions compliance while optimizing exhaust flow and preventing the MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp) from activating.

Construction and Appearance. This catalytic converter is constructed with a durable stainless steel outer shell featuring a spun round body design. The internal ceramic substrate is designed for high catalytic efficiency. It comes with a natural finish that enhances durability and resistance to environmental factors.

Installation. Installation requires welding and/or fabrication and should be performed by a qualified technician. No drilling is typically necessary; however, custom adaptations may be needed depending on the vehicle application.

Warranty. This product includes a 25,000-mile emissions warranty and a 5-year or 50,000-mile exterior case warranty. Application. This universal catalytic converter fits a wide range of applications with some adaptation required. It is not legal for use in California or states that follow California emissions standards.
