This heat shield also helps your air-conditioning perform more efficiently, potentially saving fuel. Moreover, this muffler body heat shield helps lessen interior noise by acting as a dampener.
Resilient Build Quality. The Flowmaster 13-Inch Muffler Body Heat Shield features a high-grade aluminum construction giving the component high resiliency and corrosion resistance. This muffler heat shield comes with a pre-formed design for a professional look when installed on your muffler assembly. This muffler body heat shield is compatible with 40 Series mufflers but may also fit oval mufflers that have a body thickness of 4 to 5 inches and dimensions of 10-inches wide x 13-inches long. Finally, this heat shield comes in a brushed natural finish.
Effortless Install Procedure. The Flowmaster 13-Inch Muffler Body Heat Shield installs using a pair of included stainless steel muffler straps for a near effortless install procedure. Simply lay the heat shield across the muffler body on the side that faces the floorboards and hold in place using the straps. No modifications to either your vehicle or the muffler assembly are required, and standard hand tools are all you need.
