Hi, guys. So today we're checking out the Fishbone Off-road 52-inch LED Light Bar Mounting Brackets, fitting all 2007 to 2018 at JK Wranglers. So if you are in search of some brackets to mount of accessory lighting to your Wrangler, this is going to be a great solution for that. Now, these brackets are able to mount up a 52-inch straight light bar up at the top, whether it's studded or you're looking to actually bolt it in, considering that it has two mounting locations specifically for that. And this is also gonna have a mount down at the bottom if you're looking to not only add a light bar to your Wrangler, but also accessory lighting down at the bottom of the bracket. Now, these brackets are going to allow a nice vantage point for your light bar up at the top, allowing you to light up dark back roads and dark trails, and especially going to compliment that light bar down at the bottom while allowing those extra cube lights or pod lights, or really whatever you're looking to mount up.Now, these are gonna be pretty low profile. And I do like the simple design out of these. Keeps it sleek, but it will match with any other heavy-duty accessories that you already have on your Jeep. Now, these will be made of a steel-plated material, so they will be strong and able to hold up. They're also gonna have a nice texture black powder coat finish on top to protect that steel underneath, of course, and also match with, again, any other heavy-duty accessories you have on your Wrangler. And what I do really like about this option is the fact that it comes with gaskets so you're not going to have any metal on metal contact and damage your paint at any point. Now, with that being said, these are gonna come in at roughly $75, and I think that that's a very fair price point for what you're getting out of the kit. Now, some other choices that are set up very similar to this may only accommodate for a 50-inch light bar and not a 52-inch as the way this one will, and they may not come with the additional mount down at the bottom like this one does. Now, my personal opinion, I do really like how these brackets offer you a little bit of an option when it comes to mounting up that light bar up at the top and also allowing any additional lighting down at the bottom. And then some other options on the page may span across the windshield and offer individual amounts for individual lights, cube lights, or pod lights for more of a classic look as where this keeps it very simple, sleek, and straightforward. Now, overall, I think this is a great choice if you're looking for a straightforward solution to mounting up a 52-inch light bar and you're also looking to mount up pod lights down at the bottom. Now, when it comes to install, this is gonna be a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. This is gonna take you no more than about 30 minutes to get the job done with some very basic hand tools. So speaking of the install, let's jump into that now.Tools that I used for my install were an impact wrench and the T-40 Torx socket. So the first step of this install is taking out the five upper bolts that are gonna be holding in our bracket. Now, I'm gonna be using a T-40 Torx socket, and then my might impact wrench in order to do that. We don't need to take out this bottom one, just the three on the side, and then the two on the front. Then we can take our bracket. They are gonna be side-specific. And I also would like to mention that the gasket is going to be on there. This is gonna protect from metal on metal contact, which I do really like about this set. So we can go ahead and line that up with the holes on our A-pillar and take our factory hardware and thread those into place.Once they're all hand-threaded, we can take that T-40 Torx socket and tighten them up. Then we can repeat that process on the other side. So at this point, once both of your brackets are installed, what you can do is take your 52-inch light bar and slide the studs into the open end here or you can bolt it in this back mounting location. However, that is gonna wrap it up for my review and install. Make sure you like and subscribe for more products and videos just like this, and always keep it right here at extremeterrain.com.
