The Excessive Industries GateKeeper Tire Carrier with Accessory Panel and Classic Style Gussets is designed for Jeep JL 4-door owners looking for optimized tire placement and rear-end performance. By relocating the spare tire directly over the rear axle, this carrier improves handling balance while preserving storage space inside the cargo area. With its integrated accessory panel and iconic dimple-died gussets, it blends function with trail-proven style.

      Construction and Appearance. Constructed from heavy-duty steel and finished in bare steel for custom painting or powder coating, the GateKeeper features precision-formed gussets with dimple-died holes for strength and a race-inspired look. The included accessory panel supports onboard systems like air compressors or power inverters, adding utility to its rugged design. With a five-by-five lug pattern, it supports up to a 38-inch tire without modification and 40 inches with minor trimming. It's also fully compatible with both hard and soft tops, including fastback designs.

      Installation. Installation is easy with all hardware included. The carrier bolts directly to factory mounting points and integrates seamlessly with factory or aftermarket tops. Some trimming may be required on the rear door surround for soft top use.
