Heavy-Duty Hitch Protection. The DV8 Offroad Xtract Hitch Skid Plate, available in black, is designed to shield your vehicle’s hitch receiver from damage caused by off-road obstacles. It serves both as a skid plate that reduces abrasion and as a robust recovery point, enhancing your rig’s versatility and safety during trail use.

Construction and Appearance. This skid plate is manufactured from high-quality 6061-T6 billet aluminum in a single-piece design for enhanced durability. It features a replaceable Delrin skid pad and is available in raw, black, or red finishes. An upgrade to an aluminum skid pad is also offered for increased wear resistance and rugged aesthetics.

Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring mounting to a standard 2” hitch receiver using a ?” pin (not included). No drilling or modifications are necessary, making it a simple upgrade for most vehicles.

Warranty. The product comes with a one-year limited warranty covering defects in workmanship and materials.

Application. Fits universal 2” hitch receivers with ?” pins. Some adaptation may be required for hitches with underside gussets, which can prevent proper fitment. Not compatible with 2.5” hitches even when using reducers.
