Heavy-Duty Spare Tire Delete. The DV8 Offroad Spare Tire Delete replaces the OEM spare tire and carrier assembly on your Jeep Wrangler JL to maximize rear clearance for aggressive rock crawling. It provides a clean, stylish solution that removes the heavy spare tire from the tailgate, enhancing performance and aesthetics while retaining essential vehicle functions.

Construction and Appearance. Made from durable 2mm and 4mm steel plates, this spare tire delete features a micro-texture black powder coat finish for a rugged look and superior corrosion resistance. It includes a rubber gasket to maintain rear water resistance and ensures a flush fit for a factory-quality appearance.

Installation. Installation is moderately challenging, estimated at 2.5 hours, requiring minor wiring for the license plate light. No cutting is needed; however, vehicles with a Mopar reinforced tailgate must have the reinforcement removed to complete installation.

Warranty. This product includes a one-year limited warranty covering workmanship and material defects.

Application. Designed to fit 2018 through 2026 Jeep Wrangler JL models, excluding those with the Mopar On-Board Air Compressor. Removal of a Mopar reinforced tailgate is necessary if equipped.
