      Description

      Dual-Purpose Innovation. The DV8 Offroad Xtract Hitch Skid Plate in raw finish offers robust protection for your vehicle’s rear hitch during off-road adventures, while simultaneously providing a dependable recovery point. Engineered to mount directly on any standard 2" hitch receiver, it protects against damage from rocky terrain and ensures trail readiness by including strong D-ring mounts.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from premium 6061-T6 billet aluminum in a single-piece design, this skid plate balances strength and lightweight durability. Its raw finish delivers a rugged, functional look while maintaining excellent resistance to wear. The skid plate features replaceable Delrin pads to reduce friction, with optional upgrade to aluminum pads for enhanced durability.

      Installation. Installation requires no drilling and is designed to mount using a standard 5/8" hitch pin (not included). This ensures quick attachment or removal without specialized tools, making it suitable for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals.

      Warranty. The product includes a limited one-year warranty against defects in workmanship and materials.

      Application. Fits universal 2” hitch receivers, although some adaptation may be necessary. It is not compatible with 2.5” hitch sizes and may not fit vehicles with hitches that have underside gussets, such as the 2016-2023 Tacoma OEM hitch.
