Construction and Appearance. This skid plate is precision-machined from high-quality 6061-T6 billet aluminum in a one-piece design, ensuring exceptional strength and resilience. It features a replaceable Delrin skid pad to reduce friction, with finishing options including raw aluminum, black, or red anodized coatings for corrosion resistance and aesthetic preference.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling; it mounts directly to a standard 2-inch hitch receiver using a 5/8-inch pin (not included). The user-friendly process makes it accessible for both enthusiasts and professionals.
Warranty. This product includes a one-year limited warranty covering defects in workmanship and materials from the date of purchase.
Application. Designed for universal fitment with most 2-inch hitch receivers, though some hitches with gussets on the underside (for example, the 2016-2023 Tacoma OEM hitch) may not accommodate this skid plate. It is incompatible with 2.5-inch hitch receivers, even when reducers are used.
