Pre-Installation notes:

Check packaging for all necessary hardware before beginning.

Installation Instructions

1. Remove the upper plastic gap filler; two push pins.

2. Remove the lower air dam, 6 push pins.

3. Remove the fog light plug from each fog light before removing stock bumper.

4. Cut the zip ties that are holding the fog light wiring loom to the stock bumper.

5. Remove the 8 nuts holding the stock front bumper on(4 each side of bumper with 2 of the 4 located on each side of frame), get help if necessary as bumper will fall without fasteners holding it up. Picture shows the two outer nuts, there are two more on inside of frame; repeat on both sides.

6. Remove stock bumper (get help if needed) and you are ready to install your new bumper.

7. Since your new bumper came in 3 pieces, there is some simple assembly required before mounting the bumper to the jeep. The Stinger must be mounted to the top of the bumper before putting the bumper/Stinger on the jeep. Hand tighten these 4 bolts (2 on each side) and finish tightening after bumper is mounted. You can wait until the bumper is on before mounting the Fairlead mounting plate.

8. Once stinger is mounted to bumper the assembly is ready to be placed on the jeep. You may need help at this point to help balance the bumper as you attach to the jeep. Picture shows bumper partially mounted, ready for rest of bolts and tightening.

9. I chose to not mount the Fairlead mounting plate and replace the stock bolts with black bolts.

10. You are now ready to hookup the fog lights. The fog lights come with long pig tails that will have to be spliced into the existing fog light connectors. I chose to cut the factory wires about half way up each 6’ section of loom to leave a pigtail on the connectors if I needed them in the future. The jeep wires are black wire for common/negative and a striped wire which is hot (verify with electrical meter). By cutting the connector loose about halfway up the loom, allowed the splice to be located in the loom and not exposed. After the 4 splices are made, use zip ties to place wiring behind bumper.

Your new DV8 FS-11 Bumper is now completely installed.
