How to Install Drake Off Road XT Door Handle Inserts - set of 5 on your Wrangler

Installation Time

15 minutes

Tools Required
  • Drill motor #52 (.0635”), 1/16 drill bit
  • T10 Torx Driver
  • Center punch or something to mark a hole location with (long tipped Sharpie)

Please refer to the installation instructions below when installing either style insert.

Remove stock handle:

1 Line up Drake Jeep Door Handle Insert so that it sits flush and follows the door handle lines. ​


2. While holding it in location, use center punch or other marking device to mark drill location of two mounting holes. 


3. Remove Door Handle Insert and drill two marked locations using a #52 Drill Bit. Take extreme caution to not go too deep and drill into sheet metal portion of door. 


4. Position Door Handle Insert and secure using 2 included screws. Tighten until snug using T10 Torx driver.
