How to Install a Drake Off Road Billet Antenna Black on your 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK; 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL

Step 1: Unscrew stock antenna mast by using wrench on stock antenna base flats.

Step 2: Remove plastic cover on stock radio antenna base by gently prying on outer edges of plastic cover.

Step 3: Unscrew stock mounting screws holding original base to fender.

Step 4: Install threaded insert in hole where original antenna mast was unscrewed.

Step 5: Using the three provided screws, loosly install the billet cover capturing the stock antenna base.

Step 6: Insert nylon insert in top hole of billet cover.

Step 7: Screw antenna stud by hand into billet mast until it bottoms out.

Step 8: Tighten mast/stud assembly into the threaded insert, using pliers with a rag around the mast to protect finish. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.

Step 9: Firmly tighten three mounting screws without overtightening
