Description
Enhanced Visibility Lighting. The Diode Dynamics C1R HitchMount LED Pod Reverse Kit offers a powerful lighting upgrade by mounting an LED pod directly into any 2-inch or 2.5-inch trailer hitch receiver. It adds a bright reverse light, additional running light, and an optional 4th brake light to increase safety and visibility when backing up or braking. This plug-and-play kit uses your vehicle's factory trailer wiring for easy, everyday use without complex modifications.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed with a polycarbonate lens and aluminum casting, the LED pod includes a robust rubber gasket for moisture protection. It features a durable, corrosion-resistant finish and is designed to withstand harsh environments with an IP69K waterproof rating and SAE J575 durability testing. The passive pin-fin heatsink ensures efficient thermal management while maintaining a sleek and modern appearance.
Installation. This kit installs quickly with a patent-pending snap-fit design, requiring no drilling or hitch pins. Installation and removal each take less than five minutes, making it convenient for users who frequently use their trailer hitch.
