Run Cooler. Does your Wrangler JK’s overheat whenever you hit the road? This definitely hinders your performance and is mainly caused by malfunctioning or worn out thermostats. You can avoid the situation by installing Crown Automotive’s thermostat which comes with its custom housing. The thermostat is engineered to boost coolant supply thus preventing overheating.

Power Boost. Since it opens at a comparably lower temperature than stock, this Crown Performance thermostat helps boost your Wrangler’s power. Its 195 degrees opening allows more coolant to pass through the JK’s engine block sooner thus helping to maintain cooler engine bay temperatures. As a result, your Wrangler will produce more power.

Made to Last. Your 07-11 Wrangler JK is built to be a high-performance car. Therefore, all aftermarket parts that are installed on it need to be of high quality. Crown Automotive Thermostat & Housing definitely fits the bill because it is engineered from high quality cast aluminum. It similarly has a silver finish for rust and corrosion resistance.

Direct Installation. You do not need to undertake any welding, cutting, drilling, or other modifications on your Wrangler when installing this thermostat. Installation takes one hour and requires simple tools. Nevertheless, you must have the considerable technical expertise to guarantee a perfect mount. Instructions and mounting hardware are provided alongside the thermostat and its housing to ensure a hassle-free mount.

Warranty. Crown Automotive backs this 195-degree thermostat and housing with a 12-month/ 12,000 mile warranty against mechanical and material defects unless stated otherwise.

Application. Crown Automotive Thermostat & Housing- 195 Degrees is designed to fit all 2007 to 2011 3.8L Jeep Wrangler JK models.

            Great replacement part.

I'm very happy with this thermostat and housing. I thought I was going to need another gasket but turns out the thermostat already had it.

            Really good price

Good price because it includes everything. Housing, gasket, thermostat. Just unscrew and bolt in the new one.

I had heating issues every since a trip to Moab. My temps would rise under load, but never over heat. At first I thought it was and air flow issue since I had added a transmission cooler and winch on the front when it started. So I proceed to remove those and still same issue. Finally I just broke and bought the thermostat - problem solved. for the price and easy I should down this first.

            Smart buy

Went in easy and had everything I needed. For the price of the thermostat at most auto parts stores I got the part I needed and a new housing plus gaskets.

            great so far

came in great shape, no faults at all, fixed my overheating jeep right away and only took me 20 minutes to replace the old one with the new one. the trick is finding the 10 mm wrench

I had to replace the thermostat in my 2008 Rubicon so i bought one from the local parts store with the new gasket...well take my advice and buy this product comes already with the thermostat and gasket installed in the housing so all you have to do is bolt it down hook the pipes and off you go with your heater blasting....the cost of this product is cheaper than buying just the thermostat at the parts store....
