Description
Unsung Hero. The Omix-ADA shackle bushing is the unsung hero of your Wrangler YJ's suspension system. The shackle is a part of the suspension that attaches to the leaf spring at one end and the vehicle's frame at the other. The shackle helps the leaf spring do its job, and the shackle bushing supports the shackle in its multiple tasks. You benefit from enhanced stability, more precise handling, and a more comfortable ride. The bushings benefit from an increased lifespan.
Modest, Robust Construction. Looking for all the world like a black rubber mushroom with a hole down the middle, the Omix-ADA shackle bushing measures 1.5" x 1.5" x 1.75" and weighs 0.10 lb. Bushings have to be tough because, in addition to buffering your vehicle against noise, harshness, and vibration, they are subjected to heavy loads.
Installation. If you are planning to replace all of your 1987-1995 Wrangler YJ's shackle bushings at the same time, you will need a total of 16, or two per eye. Omix-ADA shackle bushings are sold individually.
Warranty. The original retail purchaser of the Omix-ADA shackle bushing is protected by a limited 5 Year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.
Application. The Omix-ADA Shackle Bushing has been developed and manufactured for 2-door models of 1987 to 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ.
