Description
Stock Style, Stock Sound. This replacement muffler and tailpipe for the 1997-1998 Wrangler TJ is designed to look and sound just like its stock predecessor and fits just like the factory exhaust. Made from high-strength materials, this muffler and tailpipe are designed to deliver excellent durability.
Solid, Reliable Construction. Fabricated from aluminized steel, this replacement muffler and tailpipe is well suited to dry climates that don't get much ice or snow. Aluminized steel is lighter than stainless, which translates to a reduction in fuel consumption. Both muffler and tailpipe have a silver color. Together, they weigh 25 lb and measure 52.25" x 16" x 7.75". The muffler has a single inlet and single outlet, and the tailpipe exits out the passenger side of the vehicle.
Installation. This replacement muffler is a direct fit replacement that uses existing hardware. No drilling, cutting, or welding is necessary for installation, so you don't have to mutilate your classic 1997-1998 Wrangler TJ.
Warranty. Manufacturer warrants the original retail purchaser of its replacement muffler and tailpipe against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
Application. This replacement muffler and tailpipe are designed, engineered, and fabricated to fit the 1997-1998 4.0 Wrangler TJ.
