However, time and hostile conditions can take a toll on even the most durable parts. With this Jeep CJ Grille from Crown Automotive, you can make the front of the car look and perform as good as new. Don’t let debris stand in your way from off-road adventures.
Made to Last. Crafted from high-quality steel and coated to prevent rust and corrosion, this Crown Automotive grille behaves just like the stock part and can take incoming hits for years. The black gloss finish is fully paintable, allowing you to change the vehicle’s aesthetic at any time without compromising performance.
Improved Airflow. With a wide bar design, this grille lets in more air than mesh, honeycomb, or diamond patterns. This can have a markedly positive effect on vehicle cooling and performance. The openings are small enough to prevent large debris and minimize impact damage.
Stock Replacement. Since this Jeep CJ grille was designed to replace the stock option, the replacement process is straightforward. You’ll have to unmount the existing grille and use the stock hardware to place the replacement part.
Application. This replacement part is designed for the Jeep CJ-5 1972-1983, CJ-6 1972-1975, CJ-7 1976-1986, and CJ-8 1981-1986 models. Note that this grille will only fit vehicles with a stock parking lamp that uses 2 screws for assembly.
Installation Time. With minimal working knowledge of mechanical replacement and standard hand tools needed to remove the existing grille from mounting equipment, you should be able to replace the grille within an hour.
