      Description

This kit can repair your Jeep's front brake caliper piston if it is cracked, worn, or seized up. Your brake caliper piston is an integral part of your braking system. It provides pressure against the inside pad and the outside pad to create friction between the pads and rotor. This is the force that stops your Jeep. Without the piston, there is no friction and no stopping power, leading to a potentially dangerous situation.

      Made for Durability. This piston kit is made from hardened steel, which increases its strength and longevity. This also helps with heat transfer and soak. As you brake longer and harder, your brake system heats up from the friction caused by braking. By having pistons that are stronger, they can keep working longer and better than the competition.

      Complex Installation. This piston kit requires taking off the wheel and taking apart the front brake calipers, which should only be done by someone with advanced mechanical experience. It should take about 2 hours per side.

      Warranty. This piston repair kit comes with a limited 1-year/12,000-mile warranty.

      Application. This Omix-ADA Front Brake Caliper Piston Repair Kit fits all 2007-2018 JK Wrangler models.
