Heavy-Duty Rubber Construction. Buying a Crown Automotive Door Weather-strip will save you a lot of dollars. Its featured with a heavy duty pure rubber to make it durable and therefore it takes longer before you think of replacing it. More so, the rubber prevents the door from colliding with its frame ensuring no wear and tear experienced.

Keeps the Inside Temperature Intact. Driving during summer or winter requires you to adjust your car temperature accordingly. However, the warm or cool air inside your car may escape if it is not properly enclosed. That’s why Crown Automotive Door Weatherstrip is designed to be airtight to do that job. It is therefore advisable to buy it for your Wrangler TJ and be sure cool or warm air in your car will be regulated accordingly.

Seals the Door Properly. Stop using a cotton material to block rain from entering your car. It’s time to get a Crown Automotive Door Weatherstrip for your car. It is designed to tightly fit on your Wrangle TJ door, leaving no gaps for water to enter. What's more, the rubber making ensure tight closing of the door preventing it from opening unnecessarily especially during off-road driving.

Moderate Mechanical Skills Required. Crown Automotive Door Weatherstrip is made to directly fit on your Wrangler TJ without any modification. It takes about one hour for anyone with moderate mechanical skills to install it.

Warranty. Crown Automotive offers a 1-Year limited warranty for Door Weatherstrip against factory defects.

Application. The Crown Automotive Door Weatherstrip fits all 1997 to 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJs with Full Steel Doors.

            Better than the stock seal

I installed this door seal and immediately noticed that it rolled outward when I closed the door. It seemed to be crimped in several places, probably due to the way it was packaged at the factory. Of course, it has to be folded back onto itself for shipping but when it arrived and was unpacked, it retained some of the folds and creases. This makes it likely to roll out of the door seal contact areas and prevents a good seal. By closing the door almost to the latching position and carefully positioning (read 'poking') the portion of the seal that was bulging out and pushing it gently into position, I was able to "train" the seal to go where it was supposed to go and now it stays in the correct position when the door is closed. This took several days to accomplish and I discovered that leaving the Jeep out in the sun with the seal positioned correctly helped train it to stay there. Initially frustrating but, in the end, a good tight seal. Better than the one it replaced.
