Description
Efficient Oil Separation. The Corsa Performance Oil Catch Can effectively captures blow-by gases, oil vapors, water, and particulates before they contaminate the engine's intake path. This reduces carbon buildup on valves and prevents damage to sensitive components, thereby enhancing engine longevity and performance.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable 6061 aluminum, this oil catch can features a multi-stage oil separation system housed in an easy-service threaded canister. It includes machined and powdercoated 11-gauge aluminum brackets for secure mounting and comes with premium multi-ply reinforced automotive-grade hose and OEM style quick disconnect fittings. A bronze filter prevents re-entry of contaminants into the intake path.
Installation. Designed for straightforward installation that typically takes 30 minutes or less, this oil catch can requires no drilling. It includes multiple mounting brackets to accommodate various vehicle configurations and is sized specifically according to the PCV hose diameter for a universal fit, although some adaptation may be necessary.
Maintenance and Warranty. Regular maintenance is necessary to ensure optimal performance; it is recommended to check and dispose of contaminants every 500 to 1,000 miles. The product is backed by a 1-year warranty, ensuring quality and reliability.
Application. This oil catch can fits universal applications with three hose size options available (3/8 inch, 1/2 inch, and 5/8 inch) to match PCV hose diameters. Note that it is not currently CARB Executive Order approved.
