Construction and Appearance. Made from welded steel, this ball mount features a black powder coat finish that offers excellent corrosion resistance and a professional appearance. Its rugged construction exceeds SAE J684 towing standards, ensuring durability and long service life under heavy use.
Installation. Installation is straightforward, requiring no drilling, and fits securely into Class III or IV 2.5-inch receiver hitches. It includes a 5/8-inch hole for the receiver pin or lock and a 1.25-inch hole for the hitch ball shank, allowing for a secure fit.
Application. Designed to fit universal trailer hitch receivers with some adaptation possibly needed depending on the vehicle setup. It accommodates all common hitch balls and supports high-capacity towing applications up to 13,000 pounds gross trailer weight.
