Features, Description, Q&A, Specs & Installation
HIGH PERFORMANCE TORQUE CONVERTER. The Holeshot 2000 Torque Converter is designed for GM transmissions including TH400, 425, 375, and TH350, 375B models. It delivers enhanced strength and durability for vehicles with modified performance engines, optimizing launch RPM between 1800 and 2200 for improved torque availability and quicker acceleration, ideal for cars equipped with big cams that reduce low-end power.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This torque converter features copper furnace brazed impeller fins and turbine for superior durability. It includes a new precision alloy steel impeller hub and heavy-duty needle bearings. The unit is fully balanced and pressure tested to ensure reliability and performance integrity.
INSTALLATION. Installation involves a direct replacement procedure requiring proper alignment with the 10.75-inch bolt circle. No drilling is necessary. This installation is suitable for experienced enthusiasts familiar with transmission components.
APPLICATION. This torque converter fits 1965-91 GM TH400, 425, 375 and 1968-81 TH350, 375B transmissions and is compatible with a wide range of vehicles using these transmissions. It also fits 1976-79 Jeep CJ7 models. Not recommended for supercharged, plate-type nitrous oxide, or trans-brake applications. Due to the higher stall speed increasing heat generation, a transmission cooler is highly recommended to maintain durability and performance.
