It is designed for enthusiasts seeking a high-output, reliable small block engine providing 500 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque suitable for performance builds and street applications. The engine integrates a fuel injection system for precise fuel delivery.

      Construction and Appearance. Constructed with a high-strength cast iron block paired with forged internal components such as pistons and crankshaft, this engine is built for durability and reliability. Aluminum cylinder heads and a satin aluminum dual-plane intake manifold reduce weight. The included polished front accessory drive features a reverse rotation short water pump, Type II power steering pump with remote reservoir, 140-amp alternator, and peanut-style A/C compressor, all contributing to accessory function and engine finish.

      Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill. The block is drilled and tapped for clutch linkage to facilitate assembly. Fitment of the front accessory drive and associated components may require additional hoses, wiring, fittings, or fabrication depending on the vehicle.
