Description
Exceptional Damping for the Road and Trails. If you’re looking for a rear shock that will give your lifted Wrangler JL exceptional damping, the Belltech Trail Performance Rear Shocks for 0 to 4-Inch Lift is the way to go. This shock features a twin-tube style with independent compression and rebound valves. This design translates to more immediate damping performance and handling when out on the trails and a comfortable ride for the highway.
High Durometer Rubber Bushings and Integrated Metal Dust Boots. This shock also includes high durometer bushings made from specially formulated rubber. These bushings are tuned to provide excellent vibration absorption compared to stock while offering smooth operation when compared to polyurethane varieties. Additionally, these shocks come with integrated metal dust boots which offer superior protection against impacts increasing the components’ service life.
Robust Build Quality. This rear shock features shock bodies made from high-grade alloy for maximum durability. Additionally, these shock bodies measure 55mm wide, enabling them to hold more shock oil and dissipate heat better for consistent performance. The shocks’ piston rods for their part are made from chrome-hardened steel, making them more than capable of taking the knocks of the trails. Finally, the shock bodies and dust boots are finished in a silver-gray powder coat finish for superior corrosion protection.
Hassle-Free Install Procedure. This rear shock absorber is designed to install into your Jeep’s factory counterparts without the need for modifications. Also, installation is completed using just standard hand tools.
