vacuum cap,
(4) M6x1.0x24mm mounting bolts

Disconnect cables

Step 1 Disconnect negative (–) battery terminal.

Step 2 Remove the intake hose assembly from the vehicle.

Step 3 Unclip the cable attachments from the throttle linkage.

Step 4 Unplug the electrical connections at the IAC, TPS, and MAP sensors.

NOTE

Some models do not use a throttle body mounted MAP sensor. For those vehicles we supply a vacuum cap to place over the nipple that is installed on the BBK unit.

Unplug connectors

Step 5 Unbolt and remove the throttle body from the intake manifold.

Step 6 Remove the IAC, TPS, and MAP sensors (if applicable) from the throttle body using the supplied T-20 Torx bit dropped into a 1/4" socket and install them onto the BBK throttle body using the supplied IAC gasket. Attach with the original hardware.

NOTE

When installing the MAP sensor, be sure to make a positive connection between the rubber hose and vacuum fitting.

Completed installation

Step 7 Mount the BBK throttle body on to the intake manifold using the supplied base gasket. Attach with the supplied M6x1.0x24mm mounting hardware.

Step 8 Plug in the electrical connections at the IAC, TPS, and MAP sensor.

Step 9 Clip the cable connections onto the linkage of the BBK throttle body.

Step 10 Reconnect negative (–) battery terminal.
