    3 Top Rated Questions

Do you need to keep winch covered with synthetic rope, will the sun destroy it?

    • It is true that the sun will deteriorate the synthetic rope over time, so if you're Jeep will be in the sun on a regular basis, we would recommend getting the winch cover.

What specifically causes this rope to be only compatible with the Barricade 12,000lb winch? Why can't it be used as a replacement for the line of any other winch?

    • The Barricade Replacement Synthetic Rope for Barricade 12,000 lb. Winch will be a different diameter than for ropes with a lower rating, which may cause the rope to not wind properly. This may work to replace the winch rope for other winches of a similar rating, however this has only been tested on the Barricade winch.

      Barricade Replacement Synthetic Rope

Had steel but wanted to switch to synthetic, and very happy I did. This is a much better product than steel and very good quality.

      Good quality winch line

I had a steel cable winch line and I wanted to change it with synthetic line. This winch line is beefy! Also, even though my winch is not a Barricade, it bolted right up and install was a breeze. It also looks fantastic with my orange Jeep.

      Looks great! Pulls greater!

Added a winch and bumper assembly to my rig not too long ago and have to say I absolutely love it. This rope has gotten me out of a fair amount of dicey situations already. Would certainly recommend to others
