How to Install Barricade Front Skid Plate - Textured Black (10-18 Wrangler JK) on your Jeep Wrangler

  • 18mm wrench
  • 19mm socket
  • 16mm wrench
  • 17mm socket
  • socket extension
  • socket wrench

Contents:
(1) - Skid Plate
(4) - Washers
(4) - Lock Nuts
(4) - Bolts

It is recommended that you have an additional person available to help during this installation, parts can be awkward to hold and support by yourself. Block wheels and set parking brake before beginning work.

Remove the 4 front and 2 rear, plastic push pin, splash shield retainers. Remove splash shield from the vehicle.


Remove the 4 nuts on the backside of the bumper that attach the front bumper to the frame.


Install the supplied bolts through the rear skid plate mount and into the crash bar, then secure with a locking nut.


Install the skid plate to the front side of the frame with the stock nut, or use the bolt that holds an aftermarket bumper to the frame.
