Is there an aftermarket inner fender available that will work with these or are they only compatible with cut stock fender. I'd like to remove the factory fender in its entirety.

    JustinJ

    • Currently Barricade does not list a compatible inner fender for use with the Barricade Front Fenders w/ Flare but you may be able aftermarket inner fender liners intended for use with aftermarket flares.

They were a little difficult to instal but once the first side was done the second took only 2 hours. They look great and fit even better.

Barricade front fenders (Jeep LJ 05)

Awesome fenders!! Made the Jeep look badass, with more front headroom. Took about 2 1//2 hours for each one (if you know how to do body work) only downfall is there's no instructions and no outline for cutting.

      Coating and hardware is cheap

The product is built great, they bolt up nicely but you do have to destroy your factory fenders by cutting them off. If you’re looking for something that you could possible undo in the future this is not for you. The hardware is not the best, the problem is not with the construction on the product more so with the lack of instruction, the fact that the coating comes already chipped and falling off and the hardware is cheap. The first sign of moisture and I had rust everywhere from cheap hardware and exposed metal from the flaking coating which looks to be paint. The coating(paint) isn’t even covered in the seams so there is rust in every seam in every part.

      Awesome fenders

These fenders look awesome and are actuall pretty easy to install. Although they are a pretty lengthy install it is totally worth it for this great looking and very functional upgrade.

      Awesome look

I really like the look of these fenders. I’m glad I did not go with the wider fenders. These took a little longer than I expected but if you put in the work it will pay off.

      Look good, but no instructions

I had to get instructions from another kit online and watch some youtube in order to figure out exactly how much of the stock fender to cut and where. The construction of these seems good, but the inner pipes of the barricade fender require a bit more of metal to be trimmed to get these to fit correctly (about a half inch of battery box needed to be cut off in order to get mine to fit for example.)

      Durable, heavy duty, and tough!

There is no easy way to install these on a TJ- you're gonna have to cut the fender. BUT- measure several times and cut once, and you're good. Man, these line up so nice. Great fit. And they are heavy duty! I love em!

      Very solid.

If you’re debating on getting these go ahead and purchase them. They are solid. Well constructed and heavy duty. I am impressed with the barricaded armor. Also,YOU can install these. It’s not that hard. You just gotta set some time aside. It can be done in a full day. Just take your time. Only negative is my package didn’t come with a template but there are videos on YouTube of other flat fender installs that will get you close.

      Fenders

I purchased these fenders to eliminate a fender that was damaged by a deer. For the price, these fenders were a much better quality than I expected. They are heavy, well manufactured fenders that add an inexpensive and protective upgrade to my jeep. Not only that, they add aesthetic to the jeep as well. I do recommend to thorough check for any damages on shipping and repair before installation so that the coating does not become compromised. The instructions were lackluster, but youtube worked well for that. The installation was a breeze, and I, a lady, accomplished it with no assistance, other than a couple of beers. All in all, well worth the money, easy to install, and would definitely recommend or purchase again on my next jeep!

      Saddest excuse for powdercoating

Had these for a year and a half and they are rusting from the inside out, if you’re gonna buy these rather than higher quality I would recommend painting/bedlining them before putting them on unless you live down south. I’m gonna buy stainless in the future due to New England winters
