How to Install Axial LED Tail Lights - Textured Black Housing on your Wrangler

Step 1:

Begin by removing the negative battery terminal. Remove the (2) Phillips head screws from the factory tail light.

Step 2:

Disconnect the tail light plug and then remove the light from the vehicle.

Step 3:

Install the resistor to the mounting bracket using the supplied bolts and lock washers. Install the clips on the resistor brackets.

Step 4:

Press the resistor mounting bracket onto the sheet metal. Press the clip onto the sheet metal behind the tail light, the pressure of the clip holds the bracket it place.

Step 5:

Reconnect the vehicle's chassis harness to LED tail light. Ensure the circled tabs are located behind the vehicle's sheet metal before installing the factory screw. Reconnect the battery terminal and ensure the tail light functions properly.
