I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review and installation of the ATP Billet Grab Handles fitting all 2007 and up JKs. These are available from both the front and the rear of your Jeeps, so whether you have a two-door or a four-door, you can get whichever handles you like. These are also available in a couple of different colors: black, silver, red, blue, green, and gray. Anodized finishes are available, so you can match your build theme. Today, we're gonna talk through the installation of these grab handles which is going to be a very simple one out of three wrench bolt-on installation. This shouldn't take you more than a half hour to complete an install for a pair of these, and again it is going to be a very simple process but we'll talk more about the install in just a second. These are currently the most expensive set of metal grab handles that we have on the website, and these are going to be designed a little bit differently than some of the other ones. We have the synergy and the grab bar options which are more of just a tube that is bent. You can color-change the grab bar version by putting a different color handle over top of it where these ones actually come in a different color with an anodized finish, and that is going to be a Grade 2 MIL-SPEC anodized finish that's not going to wear off. It's not going to change, and as you can see, these have a bit of a different shape to them as well. It's more of a D shape with finger grooves built into it, giving you that really solid, weighted grab to get in and out of the Jeep. Now, whether the design of these and the anodized finish is worth the premium that you're paying is completely up to you. However, if you want a really nice, fully colored, anodized billet aluminum grab handle, and you have the budget for it, I think these are going to be a really good option. As it says right in the name, these are a billet aluminum grab handle which means they are milled out of a solid block of aluminum that allows these to be both very strong and very light at the same time. As I said before, these come anodized in your choice of six different colors, and that is a Grade 2 MIL-SPEC anodized finish so this isn't something that's going to start wearing off as you're grabbing the handle over and over again over time. This is gonna hold up really, really well. And the fact that you're color-changing the whole handle and not just the grip, like with some of the other brands like with the grab bar brands, means that you can really tie these into the theme you're going for in your Jeep. Now of course there is the option of getting a soft grab handle, and those are not going to be as much of a headbanger. They're going to be easier to install, and they're going to be less expensive than any metal grab handle that you can get, but they're also not going to be solid. These are going to be very, very solid, give you something that's really nice to grab onto, and make it easier for you and your passengers to get in and out of your Jeep. The install for these is going to be a very simple one out of three wrenches, and as I said before, you'll be able to get these bolted up in about half an hour a pair. So if you do have a four-door, you're gonna be looking at probably closer to an hour. All you need for this installation are some hand tools, you're going to need some Torx fits, and some Allen wrench head socket sets. You're gonna go ahead and remove a couple of factory screws that are holding your trim into your windshield frame. Once you have those removed, you can hold your front handles up in place and use the included stainless hardware to attach them to the frame. In the back, pretty much the same process. There's a little bit of assembly to do to get the handle attached to the support bar, and then remove the factory bolts, and use the included stainless hardware to get the whole handle attached. Again, this is a very simple bolt-in process. There's no drilling. There's no cutting, so this is going to be completely reversible. I open this video by saying these are the most expensive version of the metal grab handles that we have on the site, and these do come in at right around $130 for a pair which is significantly more than the next most expensive metal grab handle. However, these are going to be aluminum which is always a more expensive material, and the fact that you can get these in your choice of six different colors, and the whole handle is going to be anodized in that color as opposed to just changing the grip color, it's going to be attractive. So if you're looking for a really solid grab handle, you like the fact that these are aluminum, you like the fact that you can color-change the whole thing, then the price may be worth it for you. However, if you're just looking for a metal grab handle and you want something a little less expensive, we have those options, or if you want a handle and it doesn't have to be metal, of course you can go with fabric for significantly less. So if you're looking for a metal grab handle to make it easier for you and your passengers to get in and out of your Jeep, and you want one that you can choose the color of and one that's made of a really high-quality and lightweight billet aluminum, this is going to be an excellent choice for you. However, it is going to come at a premium price. So that's my review of the ATP billet aluminum grab handles, fitting all 2007 and up JKs that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.
