Hey, what's up, guys. Ryan here from ExtremeTerrain and today I'm here with the Artec Industries A-pillar dual LED cube light mounting brackets fitting your 2018 and up Jeep Wrangler JL. This is gonna be for the JL owners looking for a sturdy, unique and stylish set of brackets to mount some additional LED lighting. Now mounting a ligh tbar up top can disturb airflow which is gonna create noise. Rather than crowding your bumper or if your bumper simply doesn't accommodate aftermarket LED lighting, the next best option is the A-pillar mount. Now these brackets are a great upgrade for the Jeep owner especially for those of you that like to hit the trail after dark. Now these brackets are gonna allow you to mount up to two LED lights per bracket giving you a total of four and they're made of heavy-duty 1/8-inch steel making them very strong, finished off with a black powder coating that's gonna add to that aggressive styling and giving you maximum corrosion protection. Now these brackets feature a very unique design and they're created, laser cut and bent in-house by Artec Industries for a perfect fit. Now these brackets are totally bolt-on, they reuse factory mounting points so there's no drilling or modification required and they even come with brand new hardware installed. Now these are very reasonably priced on the site for a high-quality product by a reputable brand at just around $100. Now as far as installation goes, I'm gonna give this a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter as you can get these installed in about five minutes just using basic hand tools. Now with that being said let's hop into the install.Tools that we use for this install: 3/8 drive impact, T40 Torx, 4-millimeter Allen, 5-millimeter Allen. So the first thing we need to do for this installation is remove some of the bolts in the cowl panel here. You have a total of four bolts, you're gonna have two up top, two below. We're only gonna take three of them out. We're gonna take these two out of the top and this bottom one. We're gonna use a T40 Torx to get those out and since we got brand new hardware to install these brackets, we're gonna ditch those bolts and then we can install our brackets. So on the bottom we're gonna take out this rear one here, then up top we're gonna take both of these out. So at this point in time, we're ready to install our brackets. Now the brackets come in two different pieces so we're gonna work on this top section first. You get a ton of spacers in this kit and each one of these spacers is gonna have a different amount of grooves. So this one here is a three groove and this is gonna go in the front hole and then the second hole back here is gonna get a two groove. So we're gonna drop these spacers in the holes then we're gonna use the longest bolts they provide us in the kit to mount this top section first. So like I said, three groove spacer is gonna go in the front. The two groove spacer is gonna go in this back section, then we're gonna lay this bracket up here. Now this bracket, obviously you can see that the offset is going towards the outside and we have this curvature here facing towards the front of the vehicle. So once we get that, we're gonna lay it on top of the spacers, then we're gonna drop these bolts down through and then we'll thread those in by hand. The spacers are nice because it's gonna keep the bracket off of your paint and it's gonna keep you from scratching up your paint. The next thing we're gonna do is just tighten these bolts up a little bit. We still want this bracket to move around, so the next thing we're gonna do is just snug these bolts up a little bit. We're gonna use a 4-millimeter Allen key to do that.So the next thing we're gonna do is install our other side of the bracket. This bracket is gonna mount down here and it's actually gonna go up and wrap around our A-pillar and then you can see that these holes are gonna line up here. So we're gonna use the spacer that has one groove in it and this short stubby little bolt that they give us. So place our bolt through, put our spacer on the backside and then we'll just thread it in this hole. Now to tighten this bolt up, we're gonna use a 5-millimeter Allen key and we're just gonna snug that up for now. Now, of course, before you get these totally tight, you want to install your lights that way you have a proper spacing and you can fit those in, then you can finish tightening those bolts. Once you do that, you can tighten those bolts up, and that's gonna be it.So now you have the driver side completely installed, you can follow those same exact steps to get the passenger side installed. However, that's gonna wrap up my review and install. For more videos and products like this, check out at extremeterrain.com.
