Heavy Duty Steering Upgrade. The Apex Chassis HD Tie Rod Kit enhances the Toyota Tacoma's steering system by providing greater strength and durability. This kit replaces the OEM tie rods to improve handling and withstand challenging off-road conditions while maintaining reliability for daily driving.
Construction and Appearance. Made from SAE 1045 solid steel forged housings and SAE 4140 chromoly hot forged ball studs, the tie rod kit is precisely machined via CNC processes for an exact fit. Components feature a durable black e-coating and are fitted with accordion-style CR rubber boots to ensure flexibility and long service life.
Installation. The kit includes pre-assembled tie rod assemblies for straightforward installation with no drilling required. Some knowledge of suspension systems is recommended for proper installation.
Warranty. This tie rod kit is backed by a lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects and premature wear for the life of the vehicle, excluding normal wear items such as boots and bushings.
Application and Fitment. Specifically designed for 2005 to 2023 Toyota Tacoma models including Base, Pre-Runner, Limited, SR5, TRD Off-Road, TRD Pro, TRD Sport, and Trail Special Edition trims equipped with 2.4L I4 and 4.0L V6 engines. It is not compatible with Fabtech 6" lift kits using ductile iron knuckles or certain aftermarket knuckles or top-mount tie rod setups.
