      Description

      Enhanced Replacement Key Fob. The AJT Design V1.5 Injection Key Fob; Quicksand is designed to replace the factory key fob case for select Toyota Tacoma vehicles. It offers improved aesthetics and durability by allowing reuse of all internal components while providing a refreshed exterior housing. This product enhances the user experience by reducing accidental button presses and increasing the fob’s overall robustness.

      Construction and Appearance. Manufactured through injection molding, this key fob case is crafted from high-strength, impact-resistant PC-ABS plastic. The upgraded V1.5 version features thicker walls for added stiffness and durability, with an improved surface finish in a distinctive Quicksand color. The two-piece design is assembled with socket head cap screws, ensuring a secure and rugged fit.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling. The case halves are bolted together using the included 3/32" Allen key. Users simply transfer existing key fob internals—including the valet key, electronics, battery, buttons, and seal—into the new case for a clean, durable upgrade.

      Warranty. The product is backed by a one-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

      Application. This injection key fob case is specifically designed to fit 2016–2023 Toyota Tacoma models equipped with push button start systems. It does not fit other Toyota models or vehicles without push button start.
