Description
Intake. When you want improved performance combined with improved fuel economy, you want the Airaid Intake System built specifically for 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engines. This intake will improve your performance while simultaneously improving fuel economy. Only the finest materials are used, and the most advanced production methods. Mandrel-formed, larger diameter tubing is used, and it is powder coated both inside and out for improved air flow, protection against the elements, and an overall sleeker look.
Superior Filtration. This Cold Air Intake provides superior air filtration, since it includes an Airaid Premium Filter with SynthaFlow® technology. SynthaFlow® is a cotton gauze and non-woven synthetic nano-fiber material that traps the smallest dirt particles that ordinary cotton-gauze "performance" filters just can't capture. Airaid Premium Filters, with SynthaFlow® can capture particulates down to 2 microns in size. This filter is re-usable, which means there is no need to buy a filter every time its dirty. Simply wash and re-oil the filter and you're back in business.
CARB Certified. Best of all, the Airaid Intake is 50-state smog legal under Carb EO # D-609-18.
Additional Features. This product results in up to 20% better airflow, and can increase horsepower by up to 18. The unique injection molding technique is used on most of the parts, and installation takes just 30 minutes, thanks to the fact that drilling is not required. Virtually anyone can install and use this project – even those with minimal mechanical experience.
