Description
Intake. Airaid's exclusive Cross-Link adapter tube s designed to connect to the factory intake tube, allowing you to use it on either the 4-or-6 cylinder engine. Made from rugged polyethylene, this intake tube connector will flow a much higher volume of air than the stock air box.
Superior SynthaFlow Filtration. Each Airaid Cold Air Intake provides superior air filtration, since it includes a Premium Filter with SynthaFlow technology. SynthaFlow® is a cotton gauze and non-woven synthetic nano-fiber material that traps the smallest dirt particles that ordinary cotton-gauze "performance" filters just can't capture. Airaid Premium Filters, with SynthaFlow® can capture particulates down to 2 microns in size. This filter is re-usable, which means there is no need to buy a filter every time its dirty. Simply wash and re-oil the filter and you're back in business.
CARB Certified. Best of all, the Airaid Classic Performance Cold Air Intake is 50-state smog legal under Carb EO # D-609-18.
Additional Features. This Airaid performance intake is a simple and effective way to get more power from your Jeep. Simply remove the stock air box, attach the Cross-Link adapter, and your engine will suddenly be able to breathe. More mid-range torque will be available, and depending on how / where you drive, you could see better MPG's too. A filter shield also comes with the kit, to protect it from dirt, water and heat.
Application. This black Airaid Classic Performance Cold Air Intake with a SynthaFlow Oiled Filter is specifically designed to fit on the 1997 - 2004 Wrangler TJ with either the 2.5L or the 4.0L engine.
