Description
Increase Performance. This incredible Airaid Intake System works on JK Wranglers, Rubicon and Unlimited – on both 2 and 4 door models – with a 3.8-liter engine. After it's installed you could see up to a 30% increase in airflow compared to the stock unit. This results in better throttle response, better performance, and a better driving experience. Made from the highest quality materials and using the latest production methods like mandrel-formed, larger diameter tubing.
Superior Filtration. This Cold Air Intake provides superior air filtration, since it includes an Airaid Premium Filter with SynthaFlow® technology. SynthaFlow® is a cotton gauze and non-woven synthetic nano-fiber material that traps the smallest dirt particles that ordinary cotton-gauze "performance" filters just can't capture. Airaid Premium Filters, with SynthaFlow® can capture particulates down to 2 microns in size. This filter is re-usable, which means there is no need to buy a filter every time its dirty. Simply wash and re-oil the filter and you're back in business.
Additional Features. If you're looking for strong and durable, then you're looking for this piece. It is powder coated inside and out, which gives better flow and protects the part against harsh elements – plus it makes it even more visually appealing. You could see up to an 18 gain in horsepower, and most parts are created with unique injection molding techniques. Installation is simple and does not require drilling or major modifications.
