Description
Heavy Duty Performance Upgrade. This TeraFlex Bare Rubicon HD Front Axle Housing features a heavy-duty housing with axle tubes, bracketry, and forged inner knuckles as well as pre-installed inner seals and upper control arm bushings making it perfect for replacing a bent, broken, or damaged axle housing. Designed for a 4 to 6-inch lift, you just need to transfer your existing internal components (differential, ring and pinion) and outer components (stub shafts, knuckle assembly, ball joints, unit bearings, brakes, sensors) to the new housing.
Rugged Construction. Engineered, designed, and built in the USA, this Teraflex Tera44 Rubicon HD Wide Front Axle Housing is manufactured from ductile cast iron with a 3.25 O.D. x 0.5-inch wall extreme duty axle tube for increased torsional strength to resist bending. While heavy duty forged inner knuckles and 1/4-inch thick CNC laser cut axle brackets provide greater upper and lower section strength. The entire Axle Housing is completed in a UV protected triple-stage powder coat finish for long lasting corrosion resistance.
Required Components. Requires driveshaft modifications, adjustable control arms, wider axle shafts. This Teraflex 70-inch wide front axle housing must be used with a 70-inch wide rear axle housings such as Teraflex's Tera CRD60 HD Wide Rear Axle Housing with Semi-Float Axle Shafts or with Full-Float Axle Shafts.
Application. This Teraflex Tera44 Rubicon HD Wide Front Axle Housing for 4 to 6-Inch Lift is designed to fit 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Rubicon models. Please note that this is a Bare Housing and will require a new inner axle shafts.
