The Teraflex CRD60 HD Rear Axle with Semi-Float, ARB Locker and 5.38 Gears for 0 to 6-Inch Lift is a robust axle assembly designed specifically for enhancing the durability and performance of lifted Jeep Wrangler JL models. This rear axle assembly replaces factory axles to provide greater strength and ground clearance, ensuring dependable off-road capability under demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. This axle features a high-strength ductile cast iron housing with reinforced rib gussets and built-in skid plates for protection. It utilizes 3.25-inch outer diameter, 0.375-inch wall DOM axle tubes combined with 40-spline semi-float shafts for optimal strength-to-weight ratio. The assembly is finished with a UV-protected triple-stage powder coat that guards against corrosion while maintaining a smooth, professional appearance.
Installation. Installation requires mechanical expertise and approximately 6 to 8 hours depending on configuration. No drilling is necessary as it is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for the specified vehicle fitment, though professional installation is recommended to ensure proper setup and performance.
